Yet another film about the 1976 hijacking of Air France Flight 139, containing numerous Isreali citizens, has been released called “7 Days in Entebbe.” Brazilian director Jose Padilha (“Robo Cop” 2014) and screenwriter Gregory Burke put together the story with an international thriller format. The watchable movie is fast moving and easy to follow, but contains factual errors about the incident and the subsequent rescue attempt by Israeli Defense Force agents.
The cast of this independent production from Working Title Films includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Bruhl, Mark Ivanir, Denis Menochet, Ben Schetzer, with Lior Ashkenazi as Yitzhak Rubin, Eddie Marsan as Shimon Peres, and Nonso Anozie as Idi Amin.
