Though Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are listed at the top of the credits in “Hobbs and Shaw,” the real star of the show is the non-stop action-adventure and car chase scenes. We would expect nothing less from director David Leitch, who was also at the helm of another fun epic called “Atomic Blonde,” that showcased the talents of Charlize Theron. Kudos to Leitch and to screenwriters Chris Morgan and Drew Pearce for this watchable motion picture.

Special honorable mention goes to the veteran English thespian Helen Mirren, who more than holds her own with this group of young action stars.
