My Review

“Sense, Sensibility, & Snowmen” is a holiday romantic drama about two sisters owning and operating a successful party-planning business. Problems arise when they do not see eye-to-eye with the CEO of one of their newest and biggest clients, a toy company. The comedy and drama proceed from there, partly based on the 1811 novel “Sense and Sensibility” by Jane Austin. Director David Winning and screenwriters Samantha Herman and Melissa de la Cruz keep the story on track and interesting for the 82 minute running time.

The stars are Erin Krakow and Kimberley Sustad as the two sisters, and Luke Macfarlane as the toy company boss. They deliver solid performances as do co-stars Jason McKinnon, Anna Van Hooft, Jan Bos, Ellen Kennedy, Shiraine Haas, Deborah Ramsey, Keon Boateng, Ron Chartier, and Matt Mazur. The very watchable and entertaining made-for-television movie “Sense, Sensibility, & Snowmen” was first aired on the Hallmark Channel in November, 2019.
