Director-screenwriter Elizabeth Banks (“Pitch Perfect 2” 2015) has given us a new version of the “Charlie’ Angels” televsion series which aired on ABC from 1976 to 1981. The stars of the show are Kristen Stewart, Naomi Campbell, and Ella Balinska doing their best to fight crime, hired by “Bosley,” played by Banks.
The supporting cast includes Djimon Hounsou, Patrick Stewart, Sam Clafin, Noah Cenineo, Jonathan Tucker, Chris Pang, and Jaclyn Smith, Angel Kelly Garrett from the tv show, in a cameo appearance. With an easy to follow plot and tons of action with pretty girls, “Charlie’s Angels” is a fun and watchable motion picture from Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures.
