My Review

“Double Trouble” is an Elvis Presley musical that has him playing a singer having trouble with the criminal element as he tours across Europe. Director Norman Taurog made sure this was a typical Presley vehicle with loads of music. The adequate screenplay was penned by Jo Heims, with music by Jeff Alexander.

Co-stars include John Williams, Yvonne Romaine, Chips Rafferty, Michael Murphy, Leon Askins, and the Wiere Brothers as themselves. “Double Trouble” was popular in theatrical release for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
