The result was a star-studded motion picture that received six Oscar nominations, with one win by Ingrid Bergman for Best Supporting Actress.
The story tells of Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, played by Albert Finney, charged to investigate a murder aboard the Orient Express train. The suspects includes every passenger, portrayed by such big name actors like Sean Connery, Jacqueline Bisset, Lauren Bacall, Venessa Redgrave, Richard Widmark, Martin Balsam, John Gielgud, Anthony Perkins, Rachel Roberts, Michael York, Wendy Hiller, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Colin Blakely, and George Coulouris.
