“The Misfits” is an action-heist film from director Renny Harlin (“The Legend of Hercules” 2014), with the screenplay written by Robert Hemmy and Kurt Wimmer. This film is so bad that there is not much use going over the plot, as heist movie are as common as dirt in recent years. (We will say that the group of misfits looks to steal a cache of gold bars hidden underneath a prison.) Harlin has a picture here with bad acting, bad writing, and lousy production values.
The star of the show is Pierce Brosnan, who one might think would be embarrassed to appear in such a terrible film. However, he is one of the executive producers. Co-stars include Nick Cannon, Jamie Chung, Hermione Corfield, Mike Angelo, Tim Roth, Rami Jaber, and Samer al-Masry. The film was a complete flop at the box office for Film Gate Productions, RNG Entertainment, The Misfits Project, KJam Media, Highland Film Group, and The Avenue Entertainment.
