“A Christmas Story Christmas” is a Christmas comedy about a man who returns to his childhood home to be reunited with his mother and old friends, while attempting to deliver a memorable holiday to his children. This sequel to 1983’s “A Christmas Story” falls flat on its face due to poor directing by Clay Kaytis (“The Angry Birds Movie” 2016) and a mediocre screenplay by Nick Schenk and Kaytis. The producers probably waited too long to put out a sequel; four decades is too long! The film is 98 minutes of poor execution and boredom.
