“A Belle for Christmas” is the story of a brother and sister who discover that their newly adopted puppy has been disposed of by their father’s gold digger girl friend. The pair then recruit their neighborhood friends and set out on a search for the beloved canine companion, named Belle. Director Jason Dallas and teleplay writer Jake Helgren created a wonderful family Christmas movie that has good acting and excellent production values.
The cast includes Dean Cain as the father, Jet Jurgensmeyer and Meyrick Murphy as the children, Kristy Swanson as the girl friend, Haylie Duff, Avary Anderson, Connor Berry, A. Lee Stone, and Irlene Mandrell, younger sister of country singers Barbara Mandrell and Louise Mandrell, as Mrs. Dupont.
