My Review

“The Audrey Hepburn Story” is a fascinating look at the life and times of actress Audrey Hepburn. Jennifer Love Hewitt stars in the title role of this biopic that aired on ABC in March, 2000.

The film goes from the 1930’s to the 1960’s, covering her childhood with a British father and a Dutch mother, growing up in the Netherlands under Nazi rule. As an adult, she moves to New York City and enters show business, and the move to Hollywood. Director Steven Robman and teleplay author Marsha Norman do a good job with this easy-to-follow drama.

Co-stars include Francis Fisher and Keir Dullea as her parents and Eric McCormack as husband Mel Ferrer. All part of the watchable film “The Audrey Hepburn Story.
