My Review

In “Click,” Adam Sandler plays a man feeling overwhelmed about problems at home and at work, when he meets a mysterious stranger (Christopher Walken) who gives him a remote control that can fast-forward through any part of his life he doesn’t like. He soon discovers that the conveniece provided comes with a price.

Director Frank Coraci (“Around the World in 80 Days” 2004) and screenwriters Steve Koren and Mark O’Keefe put together this film that is dramatic, comical, thought provoking, and even inspirational. There are shades of “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946) here.

The cast is simply outstanding, with Sandler and Walken perfect for their roles. Co-stars include Kate Beckinsale as the wife, David Hasselhoff as the boss, Henry Winkler and Julie Kavner as Sandler’s parents, as well as Sean Astin, Rachel Dratch, Jennifer Coolidge, Sally Insul, Joseph Castanon, Jake Hoffman, Katie Cassidy, and Cameron Monaghan. Rob Schneider, James Earl Jones, and Terry Crews appear in small, uncredited parts.

The very entertaining and watchable “Click” was a huge box office sensation for producer Adam Sandler, Happy Madison Productions, Revolution Studios, Original Film, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures Releasing.
