The early years of Billy Graham’s life and ministry is faithfully depicted in “Billy: The Early Years.” It tells the story of the famous evangelist’s life from high school and college in North Carolina in the 1930’s through his first crusade in Los Angeles in 1949.
Producer Lawrence Mortorff, director Robby Benson, and screenwriters William Paul McKay and Jana Lyn Rutledge have all merged their efforts to create a high quality motion picture. Armie Hammer does a wonderful and realistic job portraying Graham as a young man.
The supporting cast includes Stefanie Butler as wife Ruth Bell Graham and Lindsay Wagner as Morrow Graham, Billy’s mother, a big influence on his life. Others include Jennifer O’Neal, Kristoffer Polaha, Martin Landau, Josh Turner, and Cliff Bemis. The faith-based film “Billy: The Early Years” was produced by Rocky Mountain Pictures.
