Executive producer Drew Barrymore and director Ken Kwapis (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” 2005) have made a horrible dud of a motion picture with “He’s Just Not That Into You.” This story of numerous couples’ dating and marriage problems is simply a boring two hour plus chick flick.
The vapid screenplay by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, somewhat adapted from the 2004 self-help book of the same name by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, does provide lots of dialogue for famous actors, including Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson, Justin Long, Kevin Connolly, Jennifer Connelly, and Kris Kristofferson.
Empty lives and shallow people populate this New Line Cinema and Flower Films movie that we are just not that into, “He’s Just Not That Into You.”
