“What If…” is the inspiring story of a wealthy businessman visited by an angel who gives him a glimpse into what his life would have been like if he had not left his fiancee and a call to the ministry fifteen years earlier.
The film has some good performances, especially Kevin Sorbo and Kristy Swanson in the lead roles. John Ratzenberger, most famous as Cliff of “Cheers” fame, is fantastic as the unconventional angel from Heaven. The cast also includes Debby Ryan, Taylor Groothuis, Kristen Minter, Toni Trucks, Stelio Savante, and Grant James.
Director Dallas Jenkins (“Midnight Clear” 2006) did a great job at the helm of the picture, with a well written screenplay by Chuck Konzelman, Andrea Gyertson Nasfell, and Cary Solomon. They put together this excellent faith-based film “What If…” from producers Dallas Jenkins and David A. R. White, 10 West Studios, Jenkins Entertainment, and Pure Flix Entertainment.
