“White Lion” is a beautifully filmed action family movie about a white lion cub that is separated from its pride and must struggle for survival on its own. South African director Michael Swan guided this film with thorough professionalism, as he was one of the writers and the director of cinematography. The stunning South African scenery was a co-star along with a loveable white lion.
Other well-trained lions also populated the screen, along with a human (and South African) cast that includes John Kani, Thabo Malema, A. J. Van Der Merve, Brendan Grealy, Jamie Bartlett, and Thor the white lion. “White Lion” is a watchable independent film from producer Kevin Richardson and Peru Productions.
