My Review

Many people will relate to the situations dealt with in the comedy film “Horrible Bosses.” Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day co-star as three friends all encountering major problems with three very different supervisors at work.

Kevin Spacey is an obnoxious corporate executive, Colin Ferrell is the incompetent son of the owner of a manufacturing firm, and Jennifer Aniston rounds out the “Horrible Bosses” trio as an over-sexed harassing dentist.

Hilarious situations abound, thanks to expert direction by Seth Gordon (“Four Christmases” 2008) and a good screenplay by Michael Markowitz, John Francis Daley, and Jonathan Goldstein. Beware that the adult subject matter and frequent F-bombs make viewing by children problematic.

Co-stars include Donald Sutherland, Jamie Foxx, Julie Bowen, P. J. Byrne, Wendell Pierce, Ron Wright, and Chad Coleman. There are cameo appearances by Bob Newhart, Ioan Gruffudd, and screenwriter John Francis Daley. Meghan Markle has a small part as a FedEx girl. “Horrible Bosses” was a hit at the box office for New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures.
