My Review

Bad acting and a predictable plot describes “The Prince,” a crime drama from Lionsgate Pictures. A retired crime boss is forced back into action when his daughter is kidnapped by an old rival. Yawns and ho-hums all around. Director Brian A. Miller was apparently asleep at the wheel, with a bad roadmap of a screenplay by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore.

The cast seemed doomed to sleepwalk through 91 minute-long film, including Jason Patric, Bruce Willis, John Cusack, Gia Mantegna, Jessica Lowndes, Rain, Jonathan Schaech, 50 Cent, Bonnie Somerville, and Andrea Burns. Bad acting, zero production values, and bad writing could not exalt “The Prince” with the general public, earning almost nothing at the box office.
