Producer-director-screenwriter David Ayer (“End of Watch” 2012) has turned out a fine World War II drama called “Fury.” The picture realistically portrays the bravery of American tank crews in Nazi Germany during the final weeks of WWII.
The lead actors delivered wonderful performances: Brad Pitt, Shia La Beouf, and Logan Sherman. They had to do a lot of preparation in tank training and general military training for the film. The supporting cast includes Michael Pena, Scott Eastwood, Jason Isaacs, Jon Bernthal, Jim Parrack, Brad Henke, Jim Parrack, Xavier Samuel, Anamaria Marinca, and Alicia von Rittberg.
The very watchable “Fury” was very successful at the box office for David Ayer, Columbia Pictures, and Sony Pictures Releasing.
