Tom Selleck returns for his ninth and final film in the Jesse Stone series. “Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise” once again has Selleck playing the LAPD officer who ends up in the town of Paradise, Massachusetts, as their police chief.
The comfortable and slow pace of this made for television movie reminds us of filmmaking from eras gone by. These are qualities of all nine “Jesse Stone” pictures which started ten years ago. Credit goes to executive producer Tom Selleck, producer Steven J. Brandman, and director Robert Harmon. Selleck and Brandman penned the teleplay.
Returning cast includes Leslie Hope, William Sadler, Kohl Sudduth, Gloria Reuben, Kerri Smith, and William Devane, most famous for his role as Gregory Sumner on the long-running CBS show “Knots Landing.” Guest performers are Luke Perry, Mackenzie Foy, Al Sapienza, Amelia Rose Blaine, Alex Carter, Christine Tizzard, and Tara Yelland. “Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise” aired on the Hallmark Channel in October, 2015.
