My Review

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star in a low-brow comedy film called “Sisters.” This story about two sisters who must clean out their childhood bedroom when their parents announce they are selling the house has very few redeeming qualities. The film is rife with foul language, stupid sight gags, and depictions of drug use.

Producers Tina Fey and Jay Roach and director Jason Moore (“Pitch Perfect” 2012) have taken the low road in filmmaking. And screenwriter Paula Pell is mostly prolific in dispensing the f-word, the s-word, and other forms of profanity.

The cast of this Universal Pictures’ gem “Sisters” also includes James Brolin, Dianne Wiest, John Leguizamo, Brian d’Arcy James, Ike Barinholtz. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler also recruited fellow Saturday Night Live alums Maya Rudolph, Bobby Moynihan, Rachel Dratch, Kate McKinnon, Chris Parnell, and Paula Pell.
