Director Jon Gunn (“My Date With Drew” 2004) skillfully weaves together the stories of twelve people facing crises in their lives in “Do You Believe?” Gunn brings a number of big stars into roles in this enseble cast like Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, who plays a homeless woman trying to care for her young daughter. Lee Majors and Cybill Sheperd portray an elderly couple dealing with the death of their only child. Ted McGinley is a pastor struggling with faith issues with his wife.
Other cast members include Brian Bosworth, Sean Astin, Joseph Julian Soria, Andrea Logan, Madison Pettis, Valerie Dominguez, Liam Matthews, Shane Carson, Tracy Melchior, Makenzie Moss, Shwayze, and Valerie Dominguez. The truly outstanding screenplay was penned by Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon. “Do You Believe?” from Pure Flix Entertainment did enjoy some success in theatrical release.
