Tyler Perry has a new Madea comedy out called “Boo! A Madea Halloween.” This film is more of the same from producer-director-screenwriter Perry, with a debut at number one at the box office on October 21, 2016.
The story has Brian Simmons’ daughter and her friends getting into trouble with a local frat house. Mable “Madea” Simmons and Joe Simmons come to the rescue with scary Halloween twists-and-turns, including appearances by zombies and creepy clowns.
Perry does his usual hilarious multi-character run as Brian, Joe, and Madea. His supporting cast includes Diamond White, Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Bella Thorne, Yousef Erakat, Lexy Panterra, Andre Hall, Brock O’Hurn, Liza Koshy, and Javon Johnson as the Rev. Walker. The watchable “Boo! A Madea Halloween” is fun and winsome entertainment and lots of laughs from Tyler Perry Studios and Lionsgate Films.
