Director Jon M. Chu (“G. I. Joe: Retaliation” 2013) has put together a decent sequel to “Now You See Me” (2013) called “Now You See Me 2.” Chu and screenwriter Ed Solomon have continued the story from the original, with lots of activity in this one including loads of illusions, magic tricks, and more from the Four Horsemen.
The large cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou, Sanaa Lathan, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Tsai Chin, Ben Lamb, and David Warshofsky. “Now You See Me 2” was a modest hit at the box office for Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate Films.
