“All I See Is You” is a lackluster psychological drama about a blind woman regaining her sight though a successful operation, only to run into trouble with her husband who had grown used to her dependency on him. The film is mostly an annoying bore; bad writing and mediocre performances create no sympathy for the young woman in question, or any other character in the movie, for that matter.
Blake Lively turns in a dull and undistinguished performance in the lead role, partly due to bad direction by Marc Foster (“Monster’s Ball” 2001), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sean Conway. Co-stars Jason Clarke, Yvonne Strahovski, Danny Huston, Wes Chatham, and Ahna O’Reilly do little to help out this unwatchable independent production, “All I See Is You,” seen by very few in theatrical release.
