Producer-director Matt Osterman (“400 Days” 2016) put together a loser of a film called “Bitcon.” It is the story of a missing hard drive loaded with hundreds of thousands of dollars of cryptocurrency, with numerous people on a search for it. The lackluster screenplay by Osterman and Mark Mazur make for a mediocre modern-day “B” film with loads of action that can at least keep viewer’s minds occupied for the 94 minute picture.
The cast includes Noah Anderson, Jeremy Davies, Ella Ma, Frank Whaley, Tom Cavanagh, Tyler Noble, Bruce Bohne, among others. “Bitcon” did not do well in theatrical release, as the independent movie production companies could not con movie goers to spend their hard earned dollars to attend this poorly assembled motion picture.
