My Review

“Logan” is loaded with action and adventure, something we expect from Marvel Entertainment. But, and it is a biggie, this 20th Century Fox film, supposedly good for family consumption, also contains excessive amounts of violence and gore, and with numerous children in the cast portraying young mutants.

This swan song for Hugh Jackman as Logan the Wolverine has his daughter introduced into the story, played by Dafne Keen, and other supporting cast members including Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elise Neal, Elizabeth Rodrguez, and Patrick Stewart in what is most likely also his final appearance as Charles Xavier.

“Logan,” an unwatchable and mediocre film from director James Marigold (“Walk the Line” 2005), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Frank and Michael Green, performed fairly well at the box office for Marvel Entertainment and 20th Century Fox.
