David MacKay smoothly directed this made-for-television film for the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries series, with great material from teleplay writers David Golden and Serena B. Miller.
The cast includes Jes Macallan as nurse Grace Conner, Sean Faris as love interest Levi Troyer, and Kelly McGillis (of 1986’s “Top Gun” fame) as granny Elizabeth Conner. Also appearing are Hillary Horvath, Pamela Daly, Isabel Young, Tom Luce, Silvio Wolf Busch, and Robert Peters as Sheriff Newsome.
“An Uncommon Grace” is high quality and watchable programming we have come to expect from the folks at the Hallmark Channel.
