Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg team up to search for lost treasures from Ferdinand Magellan’s voyage of 1519 in “Uncharted.” This fast-moving action-adventure picture was well directed by Ruben Fleischer (“Venom” 2018), with a tightly written screenplay by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway.
There is very little down time in this refreshing and entertaining movie viewable for the whole family. Holland and Wahlberg display good chemistry as the film’s leads, with a supporting cast that includes Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Rudy Pankow.
Although “Uncharted” has a story we have seen, it is so watchable and enjoyable that we have no problem recommending this Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures product to the movie going public.
