“I Think We’re Alone Now” is the story of two survivors of a worldwide pandemic which has wiped out the earth’s population. This absorbing drama was well conceived and constructed by director Reed Morano (“Meadowland” 2015) from an excellent screenplay by Mike Makowsky. Morano also served as the cinematographer. Principal photography was done in the New York state towns of Haverstraw and Hastings-on-the-Hudson.
The stars of the show, Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning, turn in excellent performances. They give us some insight into what the average person would do if they were the last people on the earth. The small supporting cast consists of Paul Giamatti and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The watchable “I Think We’re Alone Now” was a flop at the box office for producer Peter Dinklage, IM Global, Automatik Entertainment, Exhibit Entertainment, Ferrotame Films, Slater Hall Pictures, Estuary Films, and Momentum Pictures.
